Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training (6115)


Description
Aim:

The aim of the course is to meet the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies prescribed in Section A-V/2 paragraph 3, Table A-V/2-1 of the STCW Code.


Objectives:

To meet the minimum standard of competence for all trainees assigned to shipboard duties as required in Section A-V/2 paragraph 3 of the STCW Code as amended, this course is designed to enable the trainees to successfully demonstrate the competences in Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training.

Specifically, at the end of the course the trainee must be able to:
• contribute to the implementation of shipboard emergency plans and procedures to muster and evacuate passengers; and
• assistpassengers en route to muster and embarkation stations.


Target Audience:

This course is open to all masters, officers, ratings and other personnel on passenger ships.


Prerequisites:

• Valid medical certificate (2 years)
• Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces certificate.
• completed online programme (for Practical Training and Assessment)
